About Us

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, as the oldest child and first-born grandchild, Michelle “Chelley” Dallas Scott later came to know her love for people, learning, and teaching at a young age. When she was not playing fun typical children’s games with her cousins and friends, Chelley was naturally drawn to play her favorite games: “school” and “office place.” Unbeknown to Chelley, Yahuah God was preparing her and showing her his plans to prosper her and not forsake her, his plans to give her hope and a future.

In 2012, alongside her growing career in education, Chelley’s mother (a then licensed life insurance agent) introduced Chelley to financial services– the final expense side of the life insurance industry that helped people get coverage for funeral and burial services. By then, Chelley had overcome years of struggling financially and rebuilding her credit , so she was eager to learn about other areas of finances such as life insurance. After shadowing her mother while going out into the field (as it is called, which required going into communities door-knocking, setting and conducting in-home appointments to submit life insurance applications), Chelley was interested and wanted to learn more.

By 2015, Chelley obtained her life and health insurance license and started working some appointments with her mother seniors secure final expense coverage. As time progressed, Chelley’s knowledge and interest expanded and she ventured into other roles as both a captive agent and a non-captive agent. She helped people secure term or temporary life insurance, whole life or permanent life insurance, dental coverage, vision coverage, stand-alone heart attack/stroke/cancer coverage, group coverage, and eventually Medicare supplement plans for newly retired and people with disabilities.

However, in January of 2023, Chelley prayed to Yahuah for clarity, direction, and wisdom for her business–she asked  Yahuah to show her what to do and how to grow her business, or to tell her how to let it go if that was his will for her. The outcome of her prayer speaks for itself–Chelley formed True Fin Fit in July of 2024.

True Fin Fit is not just about financial services such as life insurance and annuities. True Fin Fit is a Kingdom Women’s Empowerment Movement that educates and encourages women to achieve financial literacy and stewardship for themselves, their husbands, children, families, and communities the Proverbs 31 woman way.

Restored in which she uses her Financial Social Work Coach certification to minister to women as Financial OvercomeHER coach specializing in financial codependency and financial trauma. She helps women seeking emotional and financial freedom, healing, and restoration.
